** Breaking News - On 4/15/2021 - Lexi Qualified for 2021 L10 JO Nationals **

Lexi started gymnastics when she was 3 years old and started competitive gymnastics at Farmington Gymnastic center when she was 6. There, she competed Level 4, Level 5, and finished Level 6 as State All Around Champion.  She was also a TOPS qualifier in the 10 year old age group.


She then moved to Capital City Flips where is continues today. She competed one Level 7 meet and then moved to Level 8 and competed at state and regional championships.  Lexi competed two years at Level 9. In her first year she finished 4th All Around at State Championships (37.025), 2nd All Around at Region 5 Championships (37.775) and at Eastern Nationals, finished 2nd on Floor (9.575).  In 2017, she finished 2nd All Around at State Championships (37.400), and 2nd All Around at Region 5 Championships (38.075). At Eastern Nationals, she placed 3rd in the All Around (37.675), 3rd on Bars (9.625) and Beam (9.375) and placed 6th on Floor (9.450).  

In Lexi's first season at Level 10,  At the State Championships, she placed 4th All Around (37.150), 3rd on Floor (9.525) and 5th on Beam (9.425).  At Region 5 Championships, she placed 2nd on Bars (9.500).  Unfortunately, she was competing with an injury and was not able to complete the meet.

Lexi's second. third and forth seasons have been impacted by COVID restrictions in Michigan and some untimely injuries, She did earn scores of 9.625 on Bars and 9.650 on Beam during this time.

Lexi trains 5 days a week (23 hours) under Kristin Buese and Angelina Keehner.  Last year, she was honored to become a 'big sister', which is a group of experienced gymnast that are mentors to the other gymnast.

Away from the gym, Lexi enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, art, swimming and spending time with her friends.   Her long-term goal is to compete college gymnastics and obtain a DI college gymnastics scholarship.
